Built and operated power generation portfolio for BG Group, including Lake Road, Masspower, and Dighton
Founded Barrington Energy Partners, which was sold to Navigant Consulting in 2002
Mark attended Vanderbilt University, where he earned his MBA and BS in Mechanical Engineering.
James Suehr

James is responsible for managing Middle River Power's current assets, and has previous experiencing in management and restructuring:
Supported management at E&P company through restructuring of ~$1.4 billion in debt and renegotiated critical commercial agreements with ~$1 billion contract value
Supported management team of midstream O&G company through restructuring of $600 million in debt through a chapter 11 court proceeding
Reported to CFO of $1.5 billion revenue A/V equipment rental company and supported organizational restructuring, M&A, recapitalization, and IPO preparation
James earned both his MBA and JD (cum laude) from Northwestern University, and his BA from Georgetown.
Claude Couvillion
SENIOR VP, OPERATIONS & DEVELOPMENT
Claude has 25+ years of operations and maintenance experience:
From 2015-2018, served as NAES Plant Manager at High Desert Power Project, a combined cycle plant in California, and at University Park Energy, a peaking facility in Illinois
Spent 10 years at Tenaska in various O&M positions, including Control Room Operator, Corporate O&M Support Manager, and O&M Manager Contracts
Previously served as a Controls Field Engineer for General Electric, MKV and MKVI Speedtronic Control systems at various solid fuel, nuclear and gas fired plants
Claude is an honorably discharged, 10-year Veteran of the United States Navy (Gas Turbine Systems Technician [Mechanical] First Class).
He received his BS in Resources Management from Troy University.
Jeff Malone
Asset ManageMent - west
Jeff has 15+ years of experience, in California power plant development and management:
Previously served as Asset Manager for CalPeak Assets, Malaga Assets, and Midway Assets, which are all now owned by Carlyle
Jeff received his MBA from California State University, and his BBA from University of San Diego.
Jeff is a retired United States Navy Veteran.

Dennis has 40+ years of experience in the electric utility, independent power, and industrial chemical / refinery industries. His experience includes developing international and domestic renewable energy, cogeneration, and merchant power projects:
Previously directed project and business development activities for companies such as Rentech, Eastman Chemical, FPL Energy, Calpine, Air Liquide America, and Southern Electric International
Presided over the successful development of over 3,300 MWs of independent power projects
Dennis earned his BS in Industrial Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Jon Boyer
Director - Environmental, Health & Safety
Jon has 20+ years of experience in energy and environmental health:
Former Environmental, Health & Safety Manager for High Desert Power Plant
Provided technical environmental support for fossil, renewable, and nuclear fleet with Environmental Services of the Constellation Generation Group
Provided support for license renewal efforts with Constellation Nuclear Services
Jon received his BS in Environmental Health from East Tennessee State University.
Graham Baldwin
VP - Commercial Transactions
Graham brings 20+ years of energy and general management experience to Middle River Power, including:
Full P&L responsibility for four project-financed, natural gas fired power plants comprising 3,000 MWs of generating capacity with a combined enterprise value of over $2.25B at Invenergy LLC
Sourced, negotiated, and closed power purchase agreements and commodities hedges that enhanced the value of project financed entities
Completed a rotational development program at American Electric Power including assignments in Financial Performance Analysis, Structuring / Valuation, and Energy Marketing. Permanent assignment in Energy Marketing originating wholesale transactions in PJM and MISO
As a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy, completed multiple combat tours serving as a Navigator / Weapons Systems officer in the EA-6B Prowler electronic attack jet
Graham earned his BS with Academic Merit from the United States Naval Academy, and his MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

Brant Yung

Held positions in engineering and consulting focused on the nuclear power industry, advising clients on industry developments, best practices, and providing regulatory guidance
On-site management of major projects, including experience with nuclear plant license extension efforts and program audits
Former Design Responsible Engineer with General Motors Powertrain
Brant earned his MBA from University of Chicago, and received his BS in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University.
Ed Karas
VP - Finance & Accounting
Ed has 15+ years of M&A advisory, interim management, financial restructuring, and consulting experience. At MRP he oversees post-acquisition accounting, financial reporting, and debt & equity financing. His previous experience includes:
Interim Finance Director of a 5,500 MW independent power producer primarily responsible for filing the company’s S-1
Financial Advisor to lenders of a 25 MW biomass power plant
Financial Advisor to a publicly traded renewable energy producer, totaling over 3,800 MWs of capacity
Financial Advisor to a $70 million leading provider of dedicated web hosting and managed cloud services after private equity transaction
Ed received his BS & CPA from Aquinas College.
Kathleen Pokryfke
DIRECTOR OF ACCOUNTING
Kathleen is currently managing the general accounting, audit, financial reporting, and treasury for five of Middle River Power's assets. She also supports the management team in M&A, adhoc analysis, and system conversions. Her previous experience includes:
Accounting Manager at a highly acquisitive $1.5 billion revenue company
She received her BS in Accounting from DePaul University.
Dan Harmon
SENIOR DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT
Dan has 10+ years of experience in the power industry, including development work in Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
Began career in operations at Arizona Public Service
Managed 2,600 MWs of O&M contracts for third party operator
Extensive experience in ERCOT and CAISO
Dan earned a Bachelor in Science of Mechanical Engineering from Gonzaga University and a Masters in Business Administration in Management from Boise State University.
